Herschel at ESLAB

May 4, 2010

I’m spending the week at the ESLAB conference where the first scientific results from Herschel will be announced. There are about 400 scientists here, making it the biggest ESLAB conference since they started in 1967, and a clear demonstration of the importance, success and excitement about Herschel.

There should be some great stuff announced here. I and others (Hi Brian!) will be trying to keep up with things and posting highlights, where possible, to this blog. For more timely and bite sized reports you can have a look at the #eslab2010 hashtag on twitter where we’re also trying to report things.

This should be a good week 🙂
